Our Offerings
Japanese Language Lesson
Japanese lessons are available for all levels—whether you are preparing for travel, studying for the HSC, or simply curious about the language. Lessons can be taken online or face-to-face. Beyond language, you will connect deeply with the beauty of Japanese culture, exploring traditions, contemporary customs, and society. Through mindful learning, you will gain both communication skills and a greater appreciation for Japan’s refinement and way of life.
Ikebana Lesson
Ikebana is the art of mindful flower arrangement. In lessons for beginners, you will explore the philosophy behind this Japanese practice, creating arrangements that reflect harmony, balance, and the beauty of each season. Through attentive observation and gentle practice, ikebana offers a space to slow down, focus, and bring calm presence into your daily life.
Japanese Calligraphy & Origami
Step into a world of creativity and calm.
Calligraphy is more than writing—it is a creative journey. With each brushstroke, you slow down, breathe, and find serenity in the flow of ink. Learn the elegance of kanji, refine your posture and technique, and let your art become a quiet moment of reflection.
Origami is the art of transformation. Simple folds become graceful creations, blending craft, imagination, and meditation. Begin with the basics and unfold your skills into intricate designs, discovering patience and joy with every crease.
Choose one, or combine both, and let these ancient Japanese arts guide you toward mindfulness, creativity, and wonder. Available online only.
Cooking Lesson
In these classes, you will learn how to prepare authentic Japanese dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Japanese cuisine is not only nourishing and delicious but also a delight for the senses—celebrating colour, balance, and artistry on the plate. Along with cooking techniques, you will discover the art of presentation, bringing aesthetics and seasonality to each dish you create.
